What we collect

• Booking details: your name, phone number, email (if you give it), pickup and drop-off locations, date and time, number of passengers, and any notes.
• Your location, only if you tap "Use my exact location." Your phone asks your permission first. We use it only to set your pickup.
• Payment details: the amount, date, payment method, and the name and email the payment service shares with us. Card numbers are handled by PayPal. We never see or store them.
• Messages you send us by text, WhatsApp, or email.

How we use it

• To confirm and provide your ride or tour, and to contact you about it.
• To send receipts and keep business and tax records.
• To answer your questions and improve our service.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Who we share it with

Only the services we need to run the business:

• Netlify, which hosts this website and stores booking records.
• PayPal and the payment app you choose (Venmo, Cash App, ATH Móvil, Zelle), to process payments.
• Our email provider, to send receipts and booking messages.
• ntfy, a notification service that sends Janice an instant alert on her phone with your booking details (name, phone, pickup, drop-off, and time) so she can respond quickly.
• Customer reviews you send are shown on the website only after Janice approves them, with just your first name and last initial. Any email or phone you add to a review is never shown.
• A public map search service (Photon, built on OpenStreetMap), which receives the text you type in the pickup and drop-off boxes to suggest addresses.

We may also share information if the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep booking and payment records as long as needed for the ride and for business and tax records, and then delete them.

Your choices

• You don't have to share your location. You can type your address instead.
• You can ask us what information we have about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by contacting us below. We may need to keep some records for tax or legal reasons.

Security

We use reputable services and password protection to keep your information safe, but no website or app is completely secure.

Children

This website is meant for adults booking rides. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page.
