Cancellation policy: free until 2 hours before pickup (24 hours for tours)
  • Rides: free to cancel until 2 hours before pickup. After that, up to 50% of the fare.
  • Tours: free to cancel until 24 hours before pickup. After that, up to 50% of the tour price.
  • No-show (not there 15 minutes after pickup time and we can't reach you): up to the full fare.
  • No fee for delayed or cancelled flights, ferries, or cruise ships, bad weather, or emergencies. Just text us.
  • Refunds: prepaid fares go back to the same card or app within 5 business days, minus any fee. Tips are always refunded.

Rates are per person

USVI taxi fares are set per passenger, so groups pay a lower rate for each extra rider. Agree on the total before you go.

Roads

We drive on the left

The steering wheel is on the left, but traffic keeps left. Look right first when you cross the street.

Cruise days

Book ahead when ships are in

Havensight and Crown Bay get busy on multi-ship days. Reserve your ride back to the dock, with time to spare.

Beaches

Bring cash for the beach

Some beaches charge entry or chair fees, and small vendors may be cash only.

Ferries

Red Hook to St. John

Tell us your ferry time and we'll get you to Red Hook early. Ferries leave on schedule.

Tipping

Tips are appreciated

Most riders tip 15 to 20 percent, more for help with heavy bags or a great tour.

Good to know

Do I have to pay before my ride?

No. You can pay ahead online by card, PayPal, or Venmo, or pay Janice at the end of your ride by card, app, or cash.

How are taxi fares set in St. Thomas?

Fares follow the official VI Taxicab Commission rates and are charged per person. One rider pays the "1 person" fare; when 2 or more ride together, each pays the lower "2+ people" fare. Bags, late-night rides, and waiting time have small official extra charges.

What if my flight or cruise ship is late?

Add your flight number or ship name when you book. If you're delayed, just text Janice. There's no fee for a late flight, ferry, or ship.

Can you fit my family and luggage?

Yes. The Pathfinder seats up to 6 riders, with room for suitcases. Tell us how many bags you have when you book.

Do you do island tours?

Yes. Private tours visit spots like Magens Bay, Mountain Top, and Drake's Seat. Pick "Island tour" or tell us in the notes, and Janice will plan it with you.

How do I cancel or change my ride?

Call or text (340) 514-2162, or use "Cancel this request" right after you book. Rides are free to cancel until 2 hours before pickup (24 hours for tours). See the cancellation policy.

Is it safe to pay on this website?

Yes. The site is secured with HTTPS, and card payments are handled by PayPal. Your card number never touches this website.
